RESEARCH: Driving the Knowledge Economy
Ireland has a significant record in Information Technology and Telecommunications
research and is recognised as one of the top producers of software in the world. This
conference presents a forum for the presentation of current research activities from both
the IT and Telecommunications research communities.
There is also an Industry Track to the conference which will seek contributions from
researchers, analysts and though leaders who can provide action-oriented
recommendations, direction and advice to key stakeholders in Ireland’s IT community.
Call for Papers
The conference invites technical papers concerned with the broad area of Information
Technology and Telecommunications.
Papers are invited on, but are not limited to, the following topics:

Performance
- Mobile and Wearable Computing
- Scalable, flexible network architectures& deployments
- Integration of contextual data and body sensor data
- Energy production, scavenging and
management in networks
- Designing Software for theMobile User
- Visualisation and multimedia applications
- Location Based Services
- Communication techniques and protocols
- Security, Trust and Privacy
- Data and Knowledge Management
- Digital Gaming and Entertainment Technologies
- Avatars and Intelligent Agents
- Learning Technologies
- Virtual Communities
- Social Communities
- Virtual Machine Technology
- Green Software Design
- Universal Design Technologies
Authors are invited to submit short (max. 6 pages) or full papers (max. 10 pages) and posters by
30th July 2010. A call for submissions for the Doctoral Symposium is being made separately.
Registration of papers and posters will be open from 1st May 2010. Details of full submission
guidelines along with templates can be found on the conference website at
www.ittconference.ie . N.B. Papers not following the guidelines will be rejected.

Receipt of papers and posters: 3rd September 2010 - extended
Acceptance notification: 17th September 2010
Receipt of Camera Ready materials: 28th September 2010
